A striking composition of glass, stone, timber, and polished concrete defines this home’s contemporary identity — a residence that balances bold geometry with refined material warmth. Clean architectural lines, solid brass detailing, and a restrained monochrome palette are softened by textural layers of matte finishes, organic surfaces, and filtered natural light.
The grand portico entry sets the tone for what follows — an interior of volume, light, and deliberate craftsmanship. A soaring 8.4-metre double void introduces the main living zone, where horizontal expanses of custom glass frame the surrounding landscape and invite cross-ventilation from the coastal breeze. Throughout, Spotted Gum timber and polished concrete floors create a seamless visual flow, complemented by Fino Venato Essastone benchtops, shaker-style cabinetry, and statement pendant lighting that anchor the home’s refined aesthetic.
At the centre of the plan, a state-of-the-art kitchen forms the hub of daily life. Equipped with Asko appliances, a sculptural stone island, café bench, and expansive walk-in butler’s pantry, it connects effortlessly to both the interior living spaces and the alfresco terrace beyond. Adjoining this core are considered functional zones — a workspace with integrated storage, a powder room, media lounge, and a flexible recreation area complete with a built-in bar, designed for entertaining and connection.
The outdoor domain extends the home’s living experience, featuring a firepit, ceiling fans, and ambient lighting overlooking a 7-metre heated mineral pool and spa. Timber decking, recycled brick, and drought-resistant native landscaping frame the scene, creating a tranquil environment suited to both family life and quiet retreat.
Upstairs, a floating timber staircase leads to a private lounge opening onto a large balcony with panoramic district views. Two light-filled guest bedrooms share a polished concrete bathroom, while the north-facing parents’ retreat offers a generous walk-in dressing room and bespoke ensuite with premium fittings and refined finishes.
Every element of the home reflects craftsmanship and consideration — from the recycled double-brick feature wall with its linear see-through fireplace, to the picture-frame windows that capture curated garden vistas. Sustainability and comfort are embedded through 6.5 kW solar panels, dual gas hot-water systems, zoned ducted air conditioning, LED lighting, and a smart energy-efficient layout designed for cross-flow ventilation.
Positioned on a 718 m² parcel with side access, a double remote garage, and a fully landscaped garden, this residence exemplifies contemporary coastal architecture at its most resolved — sophisticated, sustainable, and enduring in both design and material integrity.
